Vidya is one of the leading actress in Bollywood. She started her career in music videos, television shows and so many commercials. In 1998 she appeared number of T.V ads. She performed as a supporting role in music videos, such as Euphoria, Shubha Mudgal and Pankaj Udas.
FILM CAREER.
Vidya started film career trough Malayalam movie Chakram with Prithviraj.
In 2003 Vidya appeared in the Bengali movie Bhalo Theko and she won the Anandalok Puraskar Best actress Award in Kolkata.later she starred in Hindi movie Parineeta, for which she acclaimed by critics. Also she earned Filmfare Best Female Debut Award and nomination for Filmfare Best Actress Award.
In 2006 she played in Lage Raho Munna Bhai, alongside Sanjay Dutt. This movie is the
blockbuster of the year.
She starred in ManiRatnam’s Guru in 2007. Her next release was Salaam-e-Ishq: ATribute to Love and Eklavya: The Royal Guard which grossed highest in the Hindi film industry. Later that she acted in Heyy Babyy and Bhool Bhulaiyaa, were both box office hit.
In 2009 Vidya performed in Paa with Amitabh Bachchan and Abishek Bachchan. This film received well critics and her role was appreciated. And she won her a Film fare Award for Best Actress and Star screen Award for Best Actress. Balan is also performed in UTV Spot boy’s No One Killed Jessica alongside Rani Mukerji
EARLY FAMILY LIFE.
Vidya Balan Born on 1.1.1978 in Ottapalam, Palakkad District, Kerala to a Hindu Iyer family her father name is P.R. Balan he was Vice president of ETC Channel and her mother is housewife. Vidya has one elder sisiter, Priya.
Vidya Balan completed her high school in St Anthony Girls High School, Chembur, Mumbai and she did her Anthropology Major in St.Xavier’s Collage. And she got M.A in Mumbai University.
